TOPS Hospital Visit
A hospital visit is available for those teens completing the TOPS educational program.
- This visit is conducted by the Registered Nurse or Childbirth Educator that provided the teen her classes.
- At this Hospital visit, the teen will been given additonal education and support.
- This visit is especially important to breastfeeding teens, as the RN or CE will give lots of help and assistance.
- This is also a great time to ask all the questions the teen forgot to ask during the regular class time.
- A home visit can also be arranged once the teen goes home for extra help and support. This visit typically takes place 1 week after delivery.
